The practice was established by Peter Zeccola in 1973 to provide accounting and taxation services to small and medium businesses. Today there are four partners. We aim to provide the highest level of accounting, superannuation, taxation and business consultancy services.

Michael joined ZJL Partners in 2004 and is our latest Partner. Having graduated as the top student with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) & Bachelor of Computing at Monash University he is highly passionate about taxation and accounting.

He has since completed his CPA qualification and was one of only a few candidates to qualify with high distinctions in all subjects and was ranked third in Australia for his Taxation & Superannuation modules.

Bringing over 20 years of experience in public practice to ZJL Partners, Peter Locandro works with his clients to effectively manage their accounting and operational concerns.

Peter’s focus is on providing his clients with personalised advice on issues that affect their financial future. Peter prides himself on building strong relationships with his clients through his commitment to continually improve the standard and level of service that he offers.

Having worked in private industry and running his own personal business prior to joining ZJL Partners, Bernie brings over 20 years experience of accounting experience to the firm. He is well versed in various small business software packages, including installation, training and back up support. Bernie has a rounded knowledge of income tax, goods & services tax and corporate reporting.

Bernie prides himself on the relationships and trust he has built with his clients. He continually keeps up to date with relevant changes in legislation and uses this information in an innovative and constructive manner to the benefit of his clients.

Peter arrived in Australia with his family in 1957. After completing his Matriculation (VCE) in 1965 Peter commenced work with a Dandenong accountancy firm (F T Bunnett & Co.) as a trainee accountant studying part-time at Swinburne and Caulfield Colleges. In 1973 Peter opened an accountancy practice in Noble Park.

With over 45 years of public practice experience Peter’s expertise is in the area of Taxation and Superannuation. Peter’s focus in on giving his clients personalised advice and service.
